Vero Commemorates Staff For 200 Years Of Long Service

CAD/CAM specialists Vero Software, have commemorated a group of their employees in France for long service to the company, totalling 200 years between them.

Presented at a Christmas lunch in Mâcon, France, the employees were each awarded with individual accolades which varied from 5 years to more than 25 years long service with the company.

Vero’s EMEA Regional Manager, Simon Lee, led proceedings which saw employees of the company’s prestigious brands, WORKNC, WORKPLAN and WORKNC Dental, all recognised for their efforts over the years.

The awards included:
Staff from the research and development department had a combined 150 years’ plus which included Thomas Lenoir (5 years), Nicholas Lepetit (10 years), Nicolas Gauthier (10 years) Cédric Fournier (15 years), Rabah Benouamer, Thierry Tisserand and Jean – Yves Nimmegeers (20 years each), John Sturton (25 years) and Gérard Billard (25 years plus).

Samantha Mayet from the Marketing and Communication team received honours for her 10 years of loyalty and Laurence Nimmegeers from the Legal team was also recognised for 20 years’ service.

A particular highlight of the day was celebrating a couple who met during their time at Vero. WORKPLAN Development Manager, Jean Yves Nimmegeers and Laurence Vivier (at the time) met when they both started working for Sescoi (who are now part of the Vero group).

Commenting on the day, Simon Lee said “I’m very proud to be presenting these awards to our colleagues in France, who I’ve been working with for three years now.  The combined service recognised by these awards represents over two hundred years of loyal service and dedication resulting in excellent products which are now flourishing as part of Vero Software’s group solutions.”
