WORKNC, by Vero Software, Featured at Braun Machinery Open House March 29-30,
Grand Rapids, Mich.

Valued for its accuracy and reliability, the WORKNC computer-aided-manufacturing (CAM) solution will be featured March 29-30 at an open house hosted by machine-tool distributor Braun Machinery in Grand Rapids, Mich.

The event, which will mark the introduction of Takumi machinery to the Braun Machinery product line, will include live machining demonstrations that highlight efficiency-boosting technologies.

WORKNC will be exhibited in combination with four Takumi machine tools, as well as a Hurco 5-axis mill.

Among the latest enhancements to WORKNC is the addition of the Waveform machining strategy, which maintains a constant load on cutting tools by machining from the stock material towards the part geometry.

This approach results in a reduced number of intermittent cutting movements, especially in the outer areas, which means that the tool remains engaged in the material for as long as possible. This leads to fewer retracts and air-cutting periods, which delivers greater efficiency.
